Robin Van Valkenburgh is an artist from LA, who currently resides and works in Asheville, North Carolina. Robin not only produces wonderful clay works, but she is also a skilled painter. She considers herself a full time studio artist and works at Flash Studios in West Asheville, NC.
Robin works with wood, as well as clay and her figurines are
both whimsical and historic. Her blend of human and animal creatures,which she calls "hybrids" are a delightful mixture
which remind me of wonderful childhood tales.
They would be a great addition to any bookshelf or home.
